Watch our new film, 'Everything'
We're thrilled to have taken part in a national film project to promote fostering.
'Everything' follows foster carer Mike and Will and Zara, who Mike fostered when they were younger, as they wish him a happy birthday. They share their own memories of growing up with Mike as their foster carer, and the difference he made to their lives.

We're really proud of this video, and importantly of the foster carers like Mike who use their time to help children and young people in care as they achieve their full potential in life.

Councillor Victoria Cusworth (Cabinet Member for Children and Young People at Rotherham Council) added: “The story of Will, Zara, and Mike reflects many experiences within our fostering community and shows how our foster carers’ actions can be life-changing for a child or young person." You can read more of her thoughts in Rotherham Council's press release here.

Foster carers are at the heart of everything we do here at Fostering Rotherham. We believe that children and young people in Rotherham should grow up with the right support to allow them to be healthy, safe and achieve their potential in life. We can't do this on our own. Having more Rotherham Council foster carers means more children are cared for here, in their hometown.
